2020 was an odd year for most of us. I spent way more time at home and way more time on my skin. There were some good and bad times, let me tell you! Anyways, I ventured into the world of skincare tools and I am not planning on looking back. I feel I’ve learned so much about my skin and it’s many needs over the past few months and these tools have definitely helped!
Skin Gym T-Bar
Ok, this thing feels amazing. I use it in the mornings after I apply my serum. It’s designed with sonic vibrational technology to mimic the effects of a professional facial massage, and let me tell you, it’s RELAXING! It’s suppose to help you sculpt and define your face. I can tell you it helps with my morning puffiness and feels amazing. I’ve been using it for months and haven’t grown tired of it yet.
I feel it works especially well around my eyes and lower jaw. It feels amazing and my skin feels refreshed after using it!
Ice Rollers
Ah, the good ol’ ice roller! I use to put my rose quartz and jade rollers in the freezer so this wasn’t that new to me. I prefer using my ice roller in the summer because I don’t like to be cold! Ice rollers are said to help with blood circulation and puffiness in the face. They are also known for calming inflammation and feeling bloody AMAZING. The best part is they are hella inexpensive!
NuFace Mini
Okay, I hoped on the bandwagon with this one. I’ve eyed the NuFace for a LONG time but couldn’t justify the price for some reason. You know, investing in my appearance isn’t important…thats sarcasm folks. I saw the mini was available for an amazing price on QVC so I figured why not? They offer easy pay too…which makes it more affordable to be able to pay over time.
Anyways, the NuFace Mini is FDA-cleared and clinically tested. It’s the mini version of the NuFace and is designed to deliver similar results to a face lift in the form of a painless and non-invasive at-home treatment. It works by stimulating the surface areas of the skin with gentle microcurrent and working beyond the surface to improve facial contour, facial tone and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
This baby WORKS! I can instantly tell the difference after using it. I do have to warn you though, it requires consistent use! You can’t use it once and expect a miracle.
Foreo
Okey, at first I was like wtf, you’re going to charge that much for a silicone facial cleansing tool? No thanks, not today satan. Then I tried it. My eyes were opened! I loved my Clarisonic but learned how it can harbor bacteria and cause damage to my skin so I jumped on the Foreo bandwagon and haven’t looked back since. First, it’s gentle and hygienic. Second, I feel it really works well to clean my skin. It’s waterproof and aid in the absorption of my fancy products. I’m sold…like really sold!
Clarisonic Eye Massager
So, Clarisonic is no more unfortunately. I grabbed they Eye Massager attachment when it was on clearance just after the company announced they will stop production. Best purchase ever. It refreshes the tired underage area and can be used with any of your fav eye creams or serums. You have to have a Clarisonic to use it obviously, but I’m tell you, it’s amazing.
I use it morning and night…whenever I need a pick me up. It feels amazing and is super gentle on the delicate eye area. I feel like it helps reduce any puffiness I might have and it feels great!
