Holidays and stress go hand and hand. Stress and 2020 go hand and hand too. When I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed I like to take a few hours to destress and relax. I don’t think relaxing and self care should mean a trip to the spa that’s why I’ve listed my favorite 3 ways to destress.
A Good Soak
I LOVE a good epsom salt soak. It helps with sore muscles and helps me relax like nothing else. Epsom salt soaks are good for you too! I always add a bth oil too just for that extra moisture. My skin always feels so good after a good soak in the tub.
For some reason every time I take the time to slap a face mask on, I relax. It’s always nice to find some self care time and take care of my skin, even if it’s for 2o minutes. I love the Starry Eyes heating eye masks after a good face mask or when I’m in the tub. I wear them when I have headaches too and they really help ease the tension.
Tea always helps me feel grounded and destressed. There’s something about drinking a cup of hot tea that makes me relax and reflect. I’ve been really into herbal teas lately.
