We are pretty much all stuck with the “safer at home” order and can’t hit the gym for the next month. The good news is that now is the perfect time to start working out! Exercise not only helps you physically, but mentally too. We all need a mental break right about now. Here are five easy ways to start working out from home for free.
Nike Training Club
So, my friend Rachal told me about the workout on the Nike Training Club app and I had to check it out. They opened up their premium content to everyone free of charge! I’m currently working on the Breakthrough Challenge program and am on the second workout. I’m picky when it comes to my workouts and I fully recommend this app!
Remi and Nate’s IGTV Workouts
Hop on Instagram and give Remi a follow to join in on her daily workouts with her boyfriend Nate. They go live everyday at 9 a.m. PST but she saves all the workouts to her IGTV so you can follow along at your pace. These workouts are AMAZING! I’ve done a few of them and definitely felt it the next day. The best part is you only need a mat, or towel!
Blogilates
Cassey always shares amazing workouts and I love that she created an April Workout Calendar! Her workouts are always amazing and totally worth showing up for. You can do them in your living room and don’t need any equipment.
MyFitnessPal
I’ve been using MyFitnessPal to track the food I eat for about a month. I use the free version, but am thinking about upgrading to premium soon. I just discovered they offer workout routines and have a pretty good selection. They have tons of different routines to choose from and offer workouts that require no equipment as well as workouts that use equipment.

Get Outside and Move
You don’t need to pay in order to get some fresh air and exercise. Most of us are still about to take walks and jogs around our neighborhoods. Take advantage of the outdoors and go for a nice walk or run. Make sure you keep your distance and it’s probably best to stay away from parks since most of them are closed (in my neighborhood they are!). Get that heart rate up and take this time to form some healthier habits!
