This post was not sponsored by Hum Nutrition, but I was gifted a few bottles recently. All opinions are 100% my own!
My love of Hum Nutrition started about a year ago. My first bottle of Red Carpet was a gift with purchase from a Dermstore order I had placed. I was smitten immediately.
I love the packaging. The bright colors just scream happiness and health to me! The bottle design is really convenient because they fit so well in any space. I probably have at least fifteen bottles stashed away neatly in my cabinet, so I know.

I currently take Red Carpet, Daily Cleanse, Flatter Me,Skinny Bird and Base Control on a daily basis. Also, I keep Beauty zzZZzz in the house for nights when I don’t think I’ll be able to rest well. These supplements seem to work really well for me, and I’m happy with the results I’ve seen thus far.
My first bottle of Red Carpet was a gift with purchase. I didn’t really think much of it, but wanted to see what all the hype was about. I literally saw results within days. They say it can take weeks to see any improvements or changes, but I saw a difference in my skin within literal days. I don’t have issues with breakouts often, but sometimes my skin becomes congested. Red Carpet cleared up my congestion almost immediately and added much needed hydration to my skin. Not everyone will see drastic results, but I did, and I’m completely hooked. My skin doesn’t get as congested as it use to since I started takingRed Carpet and my texture is improving greatly. I’ve even been told that Red Carpet can help with dry scalp!

Black currant seed oil contains essential fatty acids our bodies can’t make but are important to our overall health. This means we need to get them from our diet or supplements. In many studies gamma linolenic acid (found in black currant seed oil) has been found to improve clinical skin conditions and skin roughness.Red Carpet description from Hum Nutrition.com
The RDN I was assigned recommended Daily Cleanse to me after I took the mini quiz on the site. I’ve noticed a difference in the way my body reacts to junk food. I try to eat as healthy as I can but I do allow myself a treat or two every now and then. My body use to react pretty badly when I’d treat myself, but now it doesn’t. Moderation is definitely key, but Daily Cleanse really helps! My body genuinely feels better since startingDaily Cleanse. My skin has benefitted too! Daily Cleanse helps to clear your skin and body from toxins, and I truly believe it lives up to its claim.
Chlorella, a blue-green algae, binds to heavy metals that can damage the skin and helps to remove them from the body. Based on 600 survey responses sent to HUM customers who purchased Daily Cleanse® for at least 3 months: 80% of people who used Daily Cleanse® for 6-8 weeks reported improved skin, 43% reported improved self-confidence and 44% said it helped them lead a healthier lifestyle.Daily Cleanse description from Hum Nutrition.com
I ordered Base Control on a whim. The RDN didn’t recommend it to me, but I didn’t think it would hurt. Work is sometimes busy and I know I don’t get all the nutrients I need on a daily basis, so I was hoping this would help. I’ll be truthful, I didn’t notice a big difference when I started takingBase Control like I did with the other Hum supplements. I don’t expect a huge change because I know I’m getting most of the nutrients my body needs in the other supplements and from the food I eat. I mainly wanted to add Base Control into my routine to fill in the gaps and to kick my multivitamin to the curb. So far, so good!

Getting the right balance of vitamins and minerals is essential for overall health. Sometimes our diets don’t provide us with everything we need and a good multivitamin can help us fills in the gaps our diet is lacking.Base Control description from Hum Nutrition.com
Skinny Bird and Flatter Me
I picked up Skinny Bird and Flatter Me on the RDN’s recommendation. I’ve been working out and wanting to loose a little weight, which I expressed in the quiz I took. It’s hard for me to remember to take Skinny Bird 30 minutes before a meal, but I make it work. I only take it two times a day even though they recommend it to be taken three. I lost almost five pounds the two weeks! Don’t think Skinny Bird is a quick fix, because it isn’t. I still worked out everyday and watched my diet. Skinny Bird just added a little something to help me push past my plateau.

Taking 5-HTP as a supplement increases the production of serotonin. Serotonin in the hypothalamus is thought to be involved in regulating food intake, promoting within-meal satiation, and improving post-meal satiety. Preliminary evidence suggest that taking 5-HTP orally, 300 mg three times daily 30 minutes before meals for 2 to 12 weeks improves early satiety and decreases daily caloric intake in obese women.Skinny Bird description from Hum Nutrition.com
Flatter Me is easier for me to remember to take since it’s meant to be taken twice daily with food. It promotes healthy digestion and a flatter tummy. Again, I noticed a difference almost immediately. Within two weeks, I felt my stomach was finally keeping the benefits of all the ab training I was doing. I started to feel less bloated after larger meals as well.

Our bodies naturally make enzymes to improve digestion and to breakdown foods. However, as we age and if we are under large amounts of stress, our enzyme levels can decrease leading to digestive imbalanes. Research shows that broad spectrum enzymes can help breakdown lactose, proteins, carbohydrates, fibers and fats to help improve digestion.Flatter Me description from Hum Nutrition.com
