A few weeks ago Wishtrend sent over the new Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence for me to test and try out. I’m big into sunscreen and always wear it, even when I’m working from home and don’t plan on venturing outside.
They describe the Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence as an everyday sun protector for sensitive skin. I don’t have sensitive skin, but do agree that it would be perfect for those that do. I don’t detect much of a scent and it melts right into my skin. It’s water based and has a gel like texture which makes it super lightweight. I apply before my makeup and it layers perfectly without leaving a white cast or any residue like other SPF’s I’ve tried. I’ve been skipping foundation primers and hoping for the best. Luckily, I’ve been in good hands and my foundation seems to behave on top of this.
Main Features (From Wishtrend)
A water-based sunscreen, that is non-sticky, light, and fresh. Apply the Soft Airy UV Essence after using this line to shield your skin from UV lights and enhance vitamin effects.
Containing ingredients that helps to brighten, hydrate, and protect:
-
Hippophae Rhamnoides Oil (aka Sea Buckthorn Oil), in Korean cosmetic, the ingredient is listed as ‘Vitamin Tree Oil’ and it helps to supply the skin with moisture.
-
Tocopherol is an antioxidant that fights against free radicals found in the skin.
-
Panthenol, beta-glucan, and allantoin soothes, relieves skin irritations.
-
Niacinamide is a skin brightening agent and helps to brighten the overall skin tone.
It’s high in SPF and PA and protects your skin really well from evil UVA and UVB rays. I love this sunscreen because it doesn’t feel like a regular sunscreen. I should just call it an essence, because that’s exactly what it feels like on the skin. Most sunscreens are a bit heavy and thick, and the Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence is neither. It’s name describes the product perfectly! I also love that it’s packed with skin loving ingredients like Niacinamide. Not only is it protecting your skin from harmful rays, it’s also nourishing it with amazing ingredients.
At $23, this is a total winner for me!! Did I mention the bottle is pretty large? It’s 80 ml!
I will be purchasing once I run low and will be adding the Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask because it’s a holy grail of mine!
