I posted this amazing blog post earlier this morning but for some reason I had technical difficulties and it got lost somewhere on the internet.
So here I go again!
I started shopping for my bridesmaids a good six to eight months before my wedding. It was really hard for me to figure out what I wanted to gift them for some reason! I read countless articles on various wedding blogs that all advised to shop for your bridesmaids like it was their birthday, so that’s what I tried to do!
Luckily, I remembered my friend Heather and her business H&L Vinyl Creations. I ordered cute tote bags with everyone’s names on them. I love totes, and use them just about everywhere I go, so I figured my bridesmaids would love them too! Heather can personalize just about anything you want, and she is honestly a perfectionist. Everything I have ordered from her in the past has far exceeded my expectations!
All my bridesmaids were traveling from different states, so I didn’t want to load them down with tons of stuff that they would have to travel back home with. I wanted to be practical as well, and gift them stuff they would actually use.
I threw in some sheet masks and a lip mask, because, why not?!? I love skin care, that’s no secret, and I knew they would enjoy them too!
One of my favorite gifts were our robes! They came out gorgeous, and really better than I had imagined! They were soft, and they fit everyone perfectly! The Apostolic Wife on Etsy is absolutely amazing! I opted for customized robes and chose gold glitter for the lettering, because, why not?!? It was so much fun getting ready together that morning, and now we will all have something to remember our morning together by. They were really helpful when we were getting our makeup and hair done in the morning. We all needed to step into our dresses and didn’t want to be wearing anything we had to pull over our head because of our hair and makeup. Needless to say, the robes were a hit!
I grabbed all of my bridesmaids a bracelet and earrings from Charming Charlie as well as a jewelry dish that says “Sisters make the best friends”. I thought those were perfect because two of my bridesmaids are my sisters and one is my sister-in-law. So, basically, they are all my sisters. I love Charming Charlie because they have super affordable keepsakes and accessories for just about any occasion.
I put all their gifts into the tote bags I ordered from H&L Vinyl Creations. I also threw in some Sugarfina candies, because everyone loves candy! Sugarfina has some cute options, and something for everyone. They even carry candies with real liquor in them!
I am so thankful for my bridesmaids, and for the long distances they were all willing to travel to be in my wedding. I wanted to do a little bit more for them, so I made sure hair and makeup was on me. It was honestly the least I could do, and I really wanted everyone to be able to relax and get pampered the morning of.
I wouldn’t have changed any of it for the world, and I’m so happy I had my girls there with me!
My advice when picking your bridal party is to look at people you love and trust, and who you see going the distance with you. Picking gifts for your bridal party isn’t that easy, but make it fun! I had fun searching the internet finding goodies to give. It’s really not the amount you give, it’s the thought behind everything!

Disclaimer – Angelica at The Apostolic Wife was generous enough to provide the robes for me and my bridesmaids!
You had some really great gifts for your girls! The Sugarfina candies added a nice touch.
We got everyone something from Sugarfina…even the flower girls! I’m in love with their selection!
