It seems like I’m always on the hunt for a good face wash or skin care in general. I think facial cleansers should do more for your skin than just wash away the makeup and dirt from the day. I’ve always said that I want to be using a face wash in my routine that can multitask! Now that I’m getting older, I’m looking to use products that can do more for me and give me more bang for my buck!
NeoStrata sent me one of their face washes to test out. I was excited to start using NeoStrata’s Resurface Foaming Glycolic Acid Wash Cleanser because it claims to smooth skins texture and enhance exfoliation while washing away impurities and prep the skin for other products. I’ve really enjoyed Exuviance products, which is NeoStrata’s sister company, so I figured this one would be a winner in my book too.
NeoStrata has a passion for developing the very best in antiaging skincare. My Thoughts on NeoStrata’s Resurface Foaming Glycolic Acid Wash Cleanser
The foam isn’t too thick, which is nice, and it easy to apply. The cleanser has a faint grapefruit smell in my opinion, but it’s not too strong or overwhelming at all. I’ve been using the cleanser for about a week and can honestly say it leaves my skin super smooth afterwards. I don’t have sensitive skin, so I’m confident I can continue to use this cleanser without any drying or irritation.
My favorite thing about this cleanser is that it contains Glycolic Acid. My skin absolutely loves Glycolic Acid in skin care because it’s not like other acids. Other acids tend to dry my skin out, but Glycolic hasn’t given me any problems! The main reasons I reach for it is to help prevent fine lines and aging, uneven texture, blackheads and for its exfoliating properties. Glycolic Acid is amazing for those with oily skin because it helps reduce excess oil. I have combo skin, but I still look for products that contain this awesome ingredient!
I’d highly recommend the Resurface Foaming Glycolic Acid Wash Cleanser, especially if you’re in the market for a facial cleanser that gives you more than just a good washing! It retails for $40, and you can find it on Dermstore and the NeoStrata site for $40, which is pretty average in my opinion.
