Althea Petal Velvet Powder

One of my most favorite on-line k-beauty retailers, Althea, is developing and launching their own range of products! The first product they launched is a translucent setting powder that sets makeup, keeps skin matte, and puts sebum at bay throughout the day. It’s velvety to the touch, and made with all natural ingredients!

My Thoughts

The Petal Velvet Powder retails for only $4.50! It’s a total steal in my opinion!

I’ve been testing this powder out for two weeks and have to say I’m really liking it! It’s soft, and extremely fine milled. It dusts on nicely and blends well. I don’t get very oily, but I do like to set my t-zone especially if it’s going to be a hot day. I started setting my under eye concealer with it and have been liking it better than the other product I was using. This powder doesn’t settle in fine lines, or leave a white cast like others I’ve tried. It doesn’t seem to give flash back, and lasts pretty much all day. It has a light scent, but honestly, it goes away and doesn’t linger at all. I only noticed it briefly when I first opened the container. I don’t feel like this powder is drying at all, and it doesn’t leave my makeup feeling heavy. The packaging is to die for too! How cute is that pink top?!?!

I’d recommend the Petal Velvet Powder for sure! Althea is always having different sales and offers free shipping on all orders over $50, so you really have nothing to lose!
