Exactly one week ago today I slipped on a pair of Tony Moly’s Magic Foot Peeling Shoes and waiting patiently on my bathroom floor for an hour and a half.
I didn’t have to sit on the floor, because you actually can walk while wearing the things, but I wanted to be careful and I got to take my time doing my nails. Win, win for me.
Anyways, I picked up a 3 pack of these masks from Amazon for about $12. I’ve read the reviews and seen the gross photos/videos, so naturally I had to try them out.
I didn’t take progress pictures because I feel you can find too many on the internet, and if you really want to see someones foot peeling, you can Google it.
I’ve read the process can take anywhere from 7-15 days to finish peeling, and I am thankful it only took about 5 for me.
My feet started peeling after day 3, which was Monday. I made sure to wear socks all day, and when I took them off before my shower I was surprised to find them full of dead skin. It was kind of gross, but kind of awesome at the same time. I could totally see my feet peeling, and knew these masks were working their magic. More skin seemed to come off after my shower, and this continued each day. I really think my daily shower (sometimes twice a day) helped speed up the process.
My feet didn’t feel itchy or uncomfortable at all. Like I said, I kept socks on all week and made sure I changed them frequently. My feet weren’t terribly dry or cracked to begin with, so the peeling might have been a bit easier for from the start.
These get a thumbs up from me because they did what they claim to do, and my feet are super soft! I will be rotating these into my beauty routine and will probably do them every other month or so except during summer when I wear sandals 24/7.
You can find them at Ulta for about $6 and on-line at various retailers. I would recommend these to anyone looking for softer, beach ready feet!
