I picked up this Rose Oil Blend while visiting the Pixi booth at Generation Beauty last weekend. I have had my eye on it for a while, and decided to take the plunge and snatch it up finally!
My first impression is that it smells AMAZING! Imagine walking through an acre of blooming roses! I like the dropper top as well because it makes using it super easy, and no product seems to be wasted.
I’ve been wearing it under my makeup and applying after my toner in the mornings this past week. I didn’t really mean to use it as a primer, it just kind of happened by accident. I was really surprised at how well my tinted moisturizer and foundation has held up throughout the day. My face didn’t feel oily, and my makeup didn’t slip one bit. The rose oil blend seemed to have really absorbed into my skin and didn’t just sit on top like other products I’ve used. I’ve used several different “oil” primers, and they didn’t absorb into my skin like this one did. It honestly felt as if this melted right into my skin, and seriously made my face feel and small amazing! If you can’t handle strong scents, especially rose, then this product won’t be for you. It has a very natural rose scent, not artificial at all.
I’ve done a little research on the ingredients, and I’m surprised at the benefits! This product is packed with amazing natural ingredients. Products like this typically cost an arm and a leg! At $24.00, I think it is a total steal, and would recommend to anyone wanting to step up their oil game!
